height to accept a standard 13 &
1/8" diameter res flange. The outer sidewall
is routed for .060" x 1/4"
edge bindings; and the res is ready for binding, neck

1/8" O.D. 24 bracket spacing. It gives a banjo slightly more sustain
& reverb. The wood rim needs turning on a lathe to fit this flange. It is
not interchangeable with our 24-piece or the "Tube & plate"
